I'm wanting a new phone, but at the moment nothing floats my little tug boat.
N95 8gb is ok, but can't help but think its been out for a while.
iPhone is fun too, had a play in apple, i don't want to fall for being an apple sucker.
So... after looking a bit longer, i came across, Nokia n96 and Sony Ericsson X1 
Anybody know anymore details of these?

go to nokia.co.uk or sonyericsson.co.uk both on there.
N95 8gb has been out for about 3monhts its hardly old, plus looks far better than n96 IMO.
X1 is windows mobile, which is a love it or hate it affair.
I dislike the operating system.

yeah the N96 looks wicked, though not out until october i think?
it seems samsung are going for the touch screen too, but this one has a 5Mp camera F480
im getting my new phone asap, it was released on march 1st but orange still havent got it avaliable for upgrade phoned yesterday, out without ten days they reckon!
less than 1cm thickness, googlemaps built in for gps/satnav, 3.2Mp camera and 3G... should be boom ting!

KZ they are availible we got ours on Friday, should be nationwaide, may not have massive amounts availible tho..

From that pic the N96 is the N81 with a slightly bigger screen obviously with software differences. I love mine tbh

I've just read about 15 articles that say that N98 spec/picture is fake.
Hope it isn't.

explain to me how optical zoom works on something only 15mm thick
also explain to me why the phot STILL has the join 3/4 of the way down each edge just like the photo used to photoshop it
