Hi took my corsa 1.4 16v to be MOT'd failed on emissions had a new cat fitted, middle box is less than a year old and backbox is stainless any ideas why its failed? should i take it to a place that tunes the ecu? i bet they would plug it into the computer charge me £30 and say nothing is wrong with it

Which part of the emissions test did it fail? have you got the results handy?

hi it says exhaust emissions carbon monoxide content after 2nd fast idle excessive, this was before it had the new cat got a brand new cat fitted but it still failed the retest??

goes on the downpipe on the manifold part.. screwed in with 2 wires coming out, just try cleaning yours first before you buy a new one
