Im looking at going halfs on a static caravan in on a haven site - can anyone share some info on this?

Im wainting on an information pack but i suspect that will only tell me what they want me to know..lol..

if i rent it out do i pay tax on the profit?

i have a friend who has a top of the range one in a park resorts site, she rents hers out and doesnt declare it to tax because its private lettings, if you rent it out through the site then you have to.
There is so much more to having a caravan home on these sites than most people think, she has to pay ground rent as well as for the caravan along with gas rates and water rates....give me a u2u if you want and i can put you in touch with her, she loves talking about her caravan
