just remembered its got a 89 nova engine in so it wont need a cat then

a '93 on an L would need one as well - it's <92 on a K that you don't need a cat

if ur car is pre august 1992 and the manufacturer hasn't fitted one to the car you don't need one. if it is pre 92 and has a cat FITTED it must still be fitted.
