3rd august we had a house fire which in all fairness was fukin awful! anyway just in from a hard days grafting so thought id post up some of the pics so far.....
Building works been going for the past week so a fair bit of progress since it was started, while its in this state werechanging upstairs around, extending, creating a gym/study as an extra room.

I want one of those weeble pole lights you have.. but nowhere sells them anymore there all eco bulb lights now

cheers for the replies, colin will take about 5 months or maybe more, luckily insurance are paying for a shit hot old stable conversion for us to rent, still not sure how it started really, fire crew etc cant pin point what it was but think it was some kind of electrical anyway, started in the eaves by my bedroom within 10 mins upstairs had all burnt out tiles shatterin and flyin into the road etc, said its lucky the whole house didnt go it was so quick altho only upstairs only burnt the floors did too causing everything burnt and unburnt to fall through and ruin down

Blloody hell, fire always scares me. Not for my house, but all the items money can't replace etc Good luck with it, sure it will be even better tough so could be a blessing in disguise really!

Think ya can get them from rs. We had 3 delivered to work about 3month ago. And me being the apprentice, was "tasked" with finding a suitable filling from somwhere for the base lol

come on loads recently, plasterer has been in and nearly all the walls are skimmed and drying (pics to follow)
Tiling has begun on the roof and coming on nicely.
