just fitted my replacement 1.6 sport engine.
to the best of mine and spankyjames knowledge, everything is done, plumbed and plugged in..... but when we went to turn it over today (topped up with oil and coolant) nothin happened, not even a sound or movement from the engine... so i spoke to to mates and daveybee who i brought the engine off, and they are all vaux mechanics.
they said to check the starting motor wires, and they are all tightly bolted... then daveybee said it sounds like an earth, because the ecu would not trigger if there is an earth missing.
the starter loom was in the car already and the engine loom was already on the engine...
could antbody think of what is wrong with it? and mayb any earths we may have missed?

cheers mate, but sorted it now, wasnt an earth in the end, the starting motor was foobard
