hi, Does anyone know if all corsa td's came with the isuzu engine or is it jst a certain few?????

i believe all the 1.5 td are isuzu, but some later corsa b's had the 1.7d gm unit, wich isnt great

iirc it is only the 1.5. the 1.3 and 1.7 are GM built.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

cheers 4 that info.
its bcos i have just bought 1 and people have told me about different engines, basically i have been told the isuzu engine is the best 1 to get.

according to my haynes book the 1.7 in the corsa b's was the isuzu unit as well... with pretty much the only difference being it was just a bored out of the NA 1.5, but they never did the turbo version of the 1.7 isuzu which can be found in astras and cav's.
the simple answer i guess is yes all corsa b td's were the isuzu block 
Either way the 1.5TD is the one to get, brilliant engines

they did 1.5 n/a 1.5td and 1.7 n/a and heard rumorse that they did combo van with 1.7td for royal mail delivery vans. they all fit the same as same mounting and the 1.7td very powerfull if tuned !

yeah but why would you have a 1.5 n/a? lol
your best bet would be an astra gls with 1.7td engine with the larger turbo quite nippy, reffined for the time and over 50mpg, best car i ever had

a lad on here fitted a 1.7td to a 3dr corsavan, that was tidy. (Can't remember who but it was very nice)
