So, my car is being stupid!
The last few weeks, every time i have started it, its seemed abit lazy to start, but when it does, there is a burbling/bubbling type sound coming from (easily explained) behind the dash 
But, today i go to start it for the 2nd time in the day, and it just doesnt want to start, doesnt tick over or anything. But it just suddenly started working after a few try's. So started driving and there was alot of smoke? coming out the exhaust, so took it for a burn to try and clear it out. Also stuck some red x in the tank to try and clear the system abit.
But then tonight, again, lazy to start, temp went really high (fan almost on) then it dropped, and went back up again and again. The heating in the car was also freezing for the whole journey (3 miles)
Anyone have any ideas as to what this could be??

you have an airlock, take off your expansion tank cap and let the engine run for 5 minutes

Sounds like maybe a Possible HG Also.
Lots of Smoke
Overheating
No Hot Air
Etc Etc,Are all Symptons?(Sp)

Check your oil cap for any "mayo"" type goo. Also smell inside the header tank for exhaust gas.
Could be headgasket. Could be an airlock.

No mayo in the oil at all.
How easy do you think it would be for a garrage to find the problem?

Try the Coolant Cap first then see what Happens.If it is the Head Gasket the only real way of knowing is to take the Head of so....

i ran it for a few mins with the cap of, but not for long, was steaming like mad, and bubling alot.

Now just Drive it normall and see what Happens,If its worked it must of just been a Airlock Lock,If not try doing it again if it still doesnt Work i would maybe suspect HG!

Lost all its water on the way home from work (1 mile) when i took the coolent cap off, absoloutly stank of petrol. Was running like a tractor!
And the engine is FULL of mayo

Wont Cost much to Fix (If you do it yourself?) Its just more Time Consuming then anything else!
Or you could put a 2L In there
