my car has jus begun a slight problem, when i start it from cold its trying to cut out and so it doesnt, it just revs to 2k and then comes bk down and does same again, when its warm it dnt really do it but still a lil tremor in the revs if you no what i mean,
I changed the exhaust manifold and the sump gasket, and now its started with this problem!
Any help appreciated thanks ant

if its a 1.6 or a .14 xe then i'd say something like the gasket between the upper and lower inlet manifold's has failed.
start it from cold and spray some WD40 down the back f the manifold and see if the car runs even worse.. if it does then air leak is your problem

CTS id go for, its the cheapest thing to try which could cause this problem

coolant temp sensor, its a blue 2 pin plug that sits in the thermostat to the left of the exhaust manifold,

ok mate cheers il change that and see if its makes any difference.
so if it is that would it only do it wen its cold ??

yes mate if its goosed it will tell the ecu to fuel incorrect at different tempretures so basically the sensor at the moment is praps telling the ecu that it is running hot when you start it up so its not telling the autochoke to kick in!!
is it like it hasnt got an autochoke at the moment and then you can eventually drive out of the spluttering
