could do with a bit of help please........
I just got a mantzel style box from matt_wassall, ( Thanks matt!)
when we took it off his car, he had the egr valve still fitted. and NO blanking plate over the egr hole where the throttle used to be mounted.
i do have a blanking plate for the actual egr valve.
so i got a few options..
1) just leave the valve on and the hole on the throttle mount open
2) blank the valve and leave the hole open
or either of the above and try to get the blank for the throttle mount?

Blank both, put the egr back on top of the blank and connect to stop eml.

il just make a blank for the throttle.
bit of can with some gasket paste under. that should do the trick ay.

Dont bolt on the EGR valve using both bolts!!! Use just one and have it hanging off slighty. Otherwise the EML will come on.

That sounds a bit odd if the hole is blanked off and the egr is ok then how the bolts are done up has nothing to do with eml coming on, as long as the egr is ok and connected ok then it should not come on.

i think i get it!... so that its hanging to the side so that the valve can open and close properly.
when i finally get a chance to do it. il put the blanker on, screw it down on its own. then find somewhere to nylon tie the egr valve to so its out the way and shouldnt affect the eml.
