Will put your speedo out by approx 5mph at about 5o with my experience.
On speed its hard to say, you would know just as well as other would.

There is another post on here, that has a link to a website that will tell you how far out your speedo is when you put bigger rims on.
P.S. Do you get much rubbing with 17's?

The bigger the wheel / tyre the higher the increase
14's = 30Mph
17's = 35Mph

Did you originally have alloys on the car? If so, did you use the original wheelnuts?
I've got some vaux locking wheelnuts but I reckon they will be too short!!

corsatobe - I wouldn't worry too much about the speed. Assuming my speedo it correct at the mo, I will be OK going through speed cameras as long as I stay at the speed for the road.
The only increase that is large enough to cause a problem is 100Mph = 105, but if you are doing a ton, you're going to get pulled anyway!!!!!
