As some of you may know - The locating pin on the end of my Distributor was broken.
This is the part in Fig. 9 Here:
As my Dizzy was a Bosch and was for an XE / LET, Vauxhall wanted £220 plus the VAT and Exchange of my distributor for a new one.
They don't stock seperate parts such as this for them, and cannot get them.
This is an easy Fix, as the part from the Lucas Dizzy for other models actually fits.
I bought one today and fitted , and it works a treat.
So if anyone has a broken locator Pin - Don't buy a new Dizzy, Buy part number: 90421990 from your Local Vauxhall Dealer at £7.60 plus the VAT...
