Right my fan is playing up and not working tried a live to it, and it turns so i know its either the wiring or switch on radiator
Now i did have a perfect working radiator with previous engine installed, but i dont know if i used donor cars radiator or my own
So i am going to replace switch on radiator itself, question is before i do so, is there one i can use to make fan kick in earlier?
Although at bottom left of my radiator *its either fomr a 16v sport of 8v 1.4) there are two wires one going into radior one is left dangling, But powersteering had been removed so has air con, so not sure if related to that?

You could always put it on a switch so you can operate it manually

Would those 2 wires not be the thermostat, which controls the fan? If the wires aren't connected, the fan won't come on.

no a switch in the car so you can turn it on and off when you want. Iv got a ford slimline one and it's silent. Don't even realize it's on.

run 2 wires from your thermostat plug, into the car and onto a switch, that way u dnt need to have it connected to the battery at all, it will work at the flick of a switch, and also, even if you forget to switch iton manually it will still kick in! thats how mines is set-up job's a goodun!

the fan was 25 from scrappy was mint. LOL. Then get a little switch from like " halfords" LOL then put it where you want in car run the wires from in the car to engine bay. Then one goes on fan earth the other goes on a earth ( some thing metal). then get another 1 wire put it from battery live to fan live. Then flick swicth should come on. Need it blowing into engine if it don't swap wires around. Hope this kinda makes sense.

get a switch with a light on it so you know when it's on and off so you don't leave it running like I used to. Lol. The light saves my life LOL. Just wire the light to something on your ignition barrel or something. It's pretty stright forward.

Just an update. I put the two wires that go into bottom of radiator together and it does not move the fan!
Me and my dad traced it, and its the actual plug wiring that goes into the fan that it faulty.
As for swicth will anyone do it?

when i did this i got the power from my headunit then ran that to a switch and then into the fans power, so when ignition is off so is the fan
