There no doubt will be and recently some app developer had a log from a new iphone using his app so must be well into development.

What more could they do to the iPhone though?
They seem to have everything?
Maybe they are thinking of a superb camera. Would be cool to have a good camera on it [about 8MP for memory]

They will think of something just to milk it abit more, the 3gs is slightly faster and a slightly better camera and everyone still went mad for it, so any little upgrade will sell. Id say add a better cam, make it a bit slimmer and one i would like is to add one of those new portable projectors to it

ont forget you can always upgrade the software on it so you really only actually loose out on hardware.

I expect it will have new features, new camera, better chipsets, bigger memory, full GPS, 4G, multi touch etc...
Pic thats been floating round for ages, but theres no proof on its origin.

Indeed.. its the hardware that really counts.
It would be wise to assume a new one is due in June, since June just gone was 3GS, previous June was 3G and previous June was the first Iphone.
There is already reports that its being tested in the wild against various carriers, so I think it will happen myself.

That rendering above is a nice idea too. Though it wont be real, Apple have never leaked an iPhone design before. It follows their current uni-body design, OLED screen will be nice if they can get one to size at the right price and a replaceable battery will keep it legal in Europe.

They will bring a new one out at the same time every single year with some slightly better feature (that other phones already have).
Apple do leak the designs btw ed, not this early though, nearer the time under the cover of 'case manufacturer', because apple give the designs out to random chinese case manufacturers weeks before the phone is out

John, Apple never intentionally leak designs and in most cases they succeed.
They are the only company so reknown for testing the current staff and firing for leaking etc.
They routinely spread 'untrue' gossip to employees and keep an eye out for what leaks and fire the people responsible.

Its never them who leak it though, its the companies who make the cases/supply the parts/etc who release the info.
