ive posted this topic before i know. but mine still arent sorted lol. i know they need a plate behind and i have take all trim off and evrything but cnt see where to put a plate. i cant see the back of the actual crack cos there is other metal isnt there?
showed one bodyshop they couldnt understand where to put a plate and have another welder looking this week. just wondered if anyone had anymore info?
or even if anyone can do it and doesnt live overally far away, i am in Bradford, west yorkshire.

i was under the impression that they were welded on from the outside of the car?

no, no, no. Just remove the trim on the inside, basically...where the crack is (which is always where the join is), follow it around on the inside, basically get a wield at LEAST 2 inches above and below that crack

Ok cheers i cnt see the crack from the inside though because it isnt just one piece of metal there
