if i use nitromors to remove the paint on my alloys will just remove the paint or will it remove the paint and fuk my alloys up just dont wanna try and find out the hard way

I know it's no good for plastics but would assume allys would be ok. Just do a small test patch on the back of the wheel.
EDIT.
Just found this on Halford website though.

They don't advise it for use on alloys.

What style wheel is it? If they have lot's of flat areas i'd use 500 grade on a DA. That's if you have a DA.
