Basically between 1500-2500rpm my X16XE has a very noticeable flat spot i.e. distinct lack of power...
It was originally an X14XE sport and i have recently fitted the X16XE
Could it be something to do with the ECU if it is the original X14XE one? I'll be greatful for any help!

no idea to be honest... i bought the car with a blown X16XE in it that the lad had put in to replace the X14XE it started out with, i have no idea if he changed the ecu though, could this be the most likely to cause it?
