Has anybody used this on the latitudes?
Unless I'm doing something really stupid it looks like it lets you set up a password using control point, inside windows, that consists of special characters, $ ! etc, but when you restart to make it take effect you can't enter special characters in the pre boot screen

It's on an E6400.
Wave systems have confirmed that it doesn't support special characters.
Why the fuck would they let you use that as a password if it won't work when you reboot
How on earth does it work integrated with windows logon when nearly everywhere will have password policies, what a stupid idea.

Ahh... We skipped the E6400's and moved straight onto the E6410's!
I don't like all this intergrated Dell bollocks, stick to making good laptops, not Dell LatitudeON and shit like this!

Eventually found out you can get a recovery disc that lets you unlock it, using the special character password, why can they not have that built in as standard.
I can't believe how stupid that is.
