Send Doyle a u2u, I'm sure he can help with changing IMEI numbers or selling blocked iPhones to foreign countries.

As stated in your other previous thread, i would tread carefully if you're trying to change the IMEI as it's illegal and carries something like 5 years imprisonment. So it might be wise to keep this off public forums

Same i have a 3g that ive been using as a Touch for the past 12 months, contemplated sending it in to mazuma and the likes for a while but never had for fear of getting busted.
Wouldnt consider the only way to truly get it unlocked(changeing the IMEI) as its really not worth the risk. Could sell it to someone outside europe.

I thought the IMEI blacklist was Europe-wide? I know you can ship them off to the states/africa and the likes...

AFAIK blacklisting only covers this country.

I just updated my barred iPhone 3g to 4.0.1 and instead of showing 'No Service' it now shows O2-UK and the 3G symbol which is lit up blue, but no signal bars. It even flicks up 1 signal bar everynow and again.
Edit: It just updated the weather and Safari works over edge/3G.
