my brakes are squeakin when i first start up the engine then when i start driving there fine...whats this mean??

i get the same thing in my sport, i put it down to crap brakes and them being cold, once warm they are fine, my rears have a habit of locking a bit when i first reverse, but they still work fine

Sounds like friction metal to metal, when you start the car up, it vibrates which probably causes a shudder and causes metal to metal friction.

some copper grease on the back of the pads should do the trick
