halfway through redecorating
I have a Tower Pc, Dell machine that's reasonably large with a 21" monitor and it sits on a desk that is HUGE and dominates half my room. Served a purpose but now i don't need it.
If you have a PC in your room, how have you got yours setup??
Is it lame if i just had like a corner shelf and the tower on the floor?? I dont want it to look TOO messy, just want it as out the way as possible. I am possibly moving it to a corner of the room if that helps but it doesnt HAVE to be there
Suggestions/pix welcome

At the moment I also have a proper office desk wedged in the corner, looks wank and takes up masses of floor space
PCs just don't work well in bedrooms tbh. iPad ftw

Don't put the tower on the floor imo, gets dusty far too quickly. I'm waiting to have mine decorated also. Excuse the dirty glass, just twatted a big bar of chocolate and a glass of coke I have another desk on the other side the same size although that has a cupboard and shelves underneath, the TV will be mounted on the wall above that.

That's a similar desk size to mine bit it has shelves and a back bit it's also thicker/higher too but it just takes up a good 1/3 of my room, why didn't I just get a fucking laptop ffs lol

My room is fairly big so it doesn't bother me, I did get them recently though as my old desk was fucking huge.

maybe i just need to get the same size desk but with less ad ons on it, just dominates my room and there really isnt a need for the desk to be that big

Nothing else behind me from where I took this pic other than a door, thats how little room I have so the table takes up a fairly large space.

It's a bit of MDF from B&Q that my dad cut up and screwed to the wall, about £10
I find it better than anything I could buy.

Need a new desk as well as mine is an absolute eyesore and far too big for what i need, plus glass is a fucking arseache to keep clean -
(yes it's messy as fuck, hence looking out for a smaller and neater looking desk).
Be interested in what you end up doing Jambo, get pics up when you're done!

Mine looks very similar to this although I have my tower to the right of the monitor.

ever since I bought my macbook my pc has been pretty much redundant, means a decent hardly used 19" screen is going to waste. Got the pc rigged up to the tv for streaming the footy
