Need to identify which file system is in use - HFS?
GetDataBack doesn't appear to find any files but that is FAT/NTFS and I think that may be my problem.

For reference, found something called R Studio which did the trick very well.
Still wouldn't mind trying to revive the old drive properly if anyone knows any Windows software to repair the HFS+ partition.
Disk Warrior is the Mac one I believe.

Yeah, I used disk warrior when my iMac HD decided to fail.
