I'm looking for a website which I can use to test SEO of some websites I maintain. I'm having a few problems at the moment because newer website I've made using Wordpress shoot up the rankings, but older ones I've made using either static HTML or my own CMS don't seem to perform to well and I'm wondering why.
Any suggestions on how to make a site perform better in the rankings?

I've been told to use word press over anything in the past as it's more likely to be read by google a lot better! Unless you obvioulsly plough a lot of man hours into your own custom one.
Edit- Ths by no means helps your problem.

Well, it's a solution I'm toying with at least. There are reasons some of the websites are running a bespoke CMS and there are reasons for converting them to Wordpress.
Just need to know if I can get my CMS to play nicely or not...
