Jailbreak and i think you can then have active wallpapers using HTML pages or something.

Right, so is it still as simple as visiting a website to jailbreak them?
This girl at work reckons she got her last iphone jailbroken and it made it slow and crash a lot?
She's got the iPhone4 now and was jealous of my live wallpapers on my Galaxy
How can I help her out?

Best person to speak to is A2H GO.... he'll give you an instant answer.
There will be an app on cydia to do it, i'm sure.
I've never jailbroken any of mine, no point. Apps I want are only 70p anyway, plus its a ballache when an update occurs.

Reminds me of an app called Mirror or something for a few quid.
Literally says on the description, "This app does nothing but turn the screen off so you can see your reflection" (was before iphone 4 when they didnt have a camera). Yet it was one of the top downloaded for ages, and people slating it in the reviews saying "It just turns the screen off"

Because they don't have live wallapapers that rape the battery.
vWallpaper 2 will do the job if its iOS5 and Jailbroken.
Might be worth noting:
"A major issue with previous versions of the tweak, has been battery life consumption: because of the nature of the tweak, users have often found that enabling live wallpapers on their iPhone has resulted in dramatically decreased battery life."

See, that would be the typical response from an iPhone fanboy to a feature it doesn't have Seen that comment a lot this morning when looking around forums for info about it. If people are concerned about battery life they just shouldn't bother with a smart phone full stop, should all stick to 5110's. Still wouldn't do any harm to have the "choice" would it, since not everyone is concerned about their electric bill
Thanks for help all anyway, I'll tell her she's bought a lemon.
