i have a 1.4 8v what power is there hiding away? what the best way to get at it thanks in advance

its a 95 merit so probally spi

yeah thats spi mate, ive got the mpi version (c14se) best mod I did was fit a 4-2-1 manifold and decat, could deffo feel the difference

i was thinking full straight through exhaust. will a 1.6 inlet manifold fit or would that be more hassle to have little gains? or is there much piont in a full straight exhaust and been looking at cams too much for my pocket at the moment. but just looking for that bit more power till i get through the first couple of years and either drop in a 2lt 8v or a 1.8 8v depends which comes first

Don't bother with the 2.0 8v IMO just save for a 1.6 16v and put a power box on
