Just got a new laptop and sound is perfect through the inbuilt speakers , but when i plug the headphones in its all out of sync. Hard to explain - but sounds like you hearing the music underwater.

Any ideas chaps?

First thing try updating the audio driver

yeah, headphones work fine on old laptop and i pod - i'll give this audio driver update a go
