bit stuck on this, basically gota r reg corsa(merit) with a c20let and f20 in it. Got it for the engine to put in my gsi.
and got a f28 box with the frunt mount. so when the let comes out goin to put that in the gsi also.
question is are the mounts that are in the merit the correct type to go in the gsi..
will i need to get a rear mount just for the f28..
anything else that i will need as want to buy everything before it goes away to get done..
heard about lowering tie bars..
just dont want to get the wrong things.
cheers.

if the corsa now is running f28 then it should have tiebar lowering plates already fitted.
for the drivers side engine mount you will need a type 2 as the merit shell is different(type1)
the rear box mount and front gearbox mount will be the same though mate

these are for the front of the tiebar:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-Tigra-Corsa-tie-bar-lowering-plates-fitting-F28-6-speed-box-C20LET-/320850611540?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4ab42fcd54
you will need the bolts to fit them though, i used 1.4/1.6 corsa head bolts
you will also need lowering plates for the lower arm

what intercooler do people recommend:
the corsa turbo has a huge fmic that sticks out a bit too much,
want something that will stay hidden behind the gsi bumper.
a standard cav turbo one or a frontera one,
hoping for round 260-80bhp.
also what clutch when using the f28...
cheers

has differnet splines on the f28 so will need a clutch to suit that.
also, need to modify the gear linkage. needs a bit chopped and welded. will dig a pic out of mine if you need.
