Just noticed in my emails that this service is now free and you don't have to be on Sky Broadband to use it, 5 minutes of clicking buttons on the Sky website and a cat5 cable - its running!

Anyone else using it? Seems quite cool.

I used it once when I first got it, now my box isn't even plugged into the router.

It's getting iplayer and itv content so should make it a bit better. Can't see 4OD being far behind.

Oh right, that makes it useful then. It was a waste of time in the olden days.

They are also meant to be adding iPlayer soon too.

Works quite well although still lacking quite a bit on content.

Hmmm, so as long as I connect the box to the router it'll work? I've got a cable into the ps3 that's not being used, i'll give it a go.

Do you need full pack, or is it just whatever you have is available, I don't have Movies, but have everything else

Sky Anytime was a service where your sky box would download a bunch of random stuff every few weeks and store it on your box so you can watch it anytime, then they released Anytime+ a while ago where you could plug your sky box into a sky broadband connection and view stuff 'on demand' - now the have opened up the service to all broadband connections.

So for example, yesterday I went onto it and watched a episode of Adventure Time in real time, then selected the movie American Beauty to watch later on in the evening. Quite good for free.
