A friend has got to get a new Ariel base and will be painting his roof but we can't see how to disconnect the wiring to take it off!? Help please

Iirc Isn't it just a nut under the headliner near the boot seal?

wiring disconnects behind the left hand c pillar, or behind the left boot plastic, one of the 2

Hes talen off all the plastics and roof lining but just cant see the plug! :/ Yer dan that undoes it but it doesnt unplug mate!
