So much info available to go through but could anyone advised on the following

ipad 1 running 5.1 should i update before jailbreak
what software is best to use
im running giffgaff network will this be affected

Also what are these worth its the 16gb model

Update to 5.1.1 (latest version available)
Jailbreak with Absinthe 2.0 (download links on right of this website: http://greenpois0n.com/2012/05/absinthe-2-0-has-arrived/
