What are the main differences between the two?
£10-15k+ differences in jobs.
If you're CCNA qualified, could you get away with a flash/speed course for CCNP? Just to get the quali?
Or do you physically have to have extra knowledge on various extra subjects.
Tried google but mainly people just selling the speed course in a week

CCNA is the 1st level, CCNP is the 2nd level. I think?
I did CCNA years ago, really enjoyed it then decided I wanted to go into development and never used it again

CCENT is 1st level, then CCNA, then CCNP I think.
Any idea what the differences between A & P are James? Apart from Associate and Professional obviously

Nah, the ent is just entry level but needed it to do ccna. Only came in, in 08.
I've googled it yeah, basically all i can gather is you learn how to do larger networks, so nothing out of depth from CCNA.... Seems a bit too easy to do to get the CCNP and 10-15k more salaried job?

Once you've got CCNA you need to do three exams minimum to gain CCNP. Switching, routing and troubleshooting.
CCNA is two exams, if you pass the first you get CCENT and then the second makes it CCNA. Theres also an all in one exam.
CCENT is worthless from what I can't gather in the job marketplace.
CCNA covers enough to allow you to setup and maintain a small office network, basic WAN functionality, basic wireless, basic routing, basic security and basic troubleshooting.
I failed my first CCNA exam because I just tried to go in there with crammed and remembered information. I studied properly after that and went back properly understanding the material, did much better! I would advise self teaching CCNA if you don't have it already and then look at some CCNP courses.
It's well worth striking while the iron is hot once you've got CCNA. I stopped after my first exam and now I want to continue into CCNP I need to go back and revisit quite a lot of CCNA stuff.
Even when exposed to it in the workplace there is lots of bullshit you need to know for the exams which is easy to forget due to real life resources (google )
