What is the quickest way to save pictures/videos off my iphone? Got around 3500 to backup.
Dont really want to use itunes but if its the quickest way so be it.

Under windows 7, it should show up as as a portable device and right-clicking will allow you to import photos/media (not sure if this covers videos though). Similarly on OSX you can use 'Preview' to import photos from the iPhone.

Yes tried this on windows XP and it took ages about 2 hours to do 200 pictures then I got bored
Just wondering if there is a quicker way

no, 3500 is alot of photos to backup, particularly if its a newer iphone taking maxed out images at 2-4mb each.
The transfer speed on the things isnt great, im hoping the new connector will bring better speeds.
Itunes or manual copy and paste will both take a long time for that many photos.

Set your PC up to not go into sleep mode nor kick in a screen saver and just run it for the 8 hours you will be sleeping for?

osx image capture to import into a folder, skydrive folder? get them backed up
