Been looking for days now, that Dell 15z does look good. Tbh the one at PC World doesn't look bad for the money either, think i'm stuck between these two.

Think you get a lot more spec for a bit extra on the Dell though? I.e. Dedicated graphics, i7 processor.
Could be wrong - need advice myself as don't want to be replacing this in 18 months especially at £500.

Same! Would go for the Dell if they offered A) Next day delivery (not one to wait!) or B) I could see it in a store first. It doesn't look like the most attractive laptop.
Might pop down the PC World and have a look at the HP range to get an idea of how they are build wise.

Went and had a look at some of the HP laptops in PC World, wasn't massively impressed with the 15.6" screen range, always thought that was the size I fancied but the 14" range looks very nice and a much better build ! You any closer to deciding ?!

Just noticed the one you ordered is SSD Whittie. Bit more than I wanted to spend though. I'll have to do a bit more research.

Not yet mate! Think it's estimated for the 8th. Still part of me wishing that I sided with the Dell. Anythings gotta be an improvement on my dual core Vista Vaio with numerous missing keys though

The Dell has a 32gb mSATA drive, alongside the 500gb drive.

Which did you go for in the end then? The Dell on offer? I hope I don't regret not going for that one! I have a Vaio at the minute too! They're expensive for what they are now!

Whats your budget? I was initially looking at £500, ended up spending in total just under £600. Not bad considering it's still in shops for £900!
