my dad got me a new stereo for christmas, it came with the metal surround for the stereo that fits perfect its just the stereo doesn't properly go in. it sticks out 1 inch kind of annoying.
just wondered if there was anything i could do to put it in so its sits flush like a normal stereo.

thanks

You'll find the wiring on the back of the unit stopping it going in enough. Simple enough to sort, remove the ash tray 4 Phillips screws, that should give you enough room to move the wiring whilst pushing the headunit into the stereo cage.

Also if you look above the shelf below the glovebox you might have a gap where you can see the wires and can pull them back through there, that's what i had to do anyway.

It's a bit of a cunt on a corsa... I ended up pushing it in the little void between the glovebox and stereo hole and getting an extension cable for the ariel

I fitted a bluetooth car kit in a Vito before Christmas and I could just chuck it all in the void in the dash Wish it was like that with a corsa!
