Unrelated to this but I seen the Mac Pro dustbin thing in Costco at the weekend, looks pretty neat.

It's a nice implementation of Google Voice; hopefully it won't take an age for them to open it up to people outside of the US (big issue with Google Voice).

Could always port with Google Voice, so not exactly a big issue. Issue with Google Voice was Google not offering it internationally.

which costs and is a process to go through (ignoring the whole US thing)
The whole point of the way its been designed - Its seamless and works without me doing anything.

Liking some of the UI changes in OSX; they've nabbed a load of features from various apps and OS's but it looks like it works well.
Dubious about the '98% Enterprise use iOS' quote, seems a bit optimistic.

Wasn't it $20 for the port and Google sorted it all?
Plus Google Voice was a lot more than duplicating calls between devices.
Either way, i very much doubt Apple's version will be completely 'process-less', there will certainly be some clicks involved

Doesn't surprise me the stat on the Enterprise. In the last 6 months the 4/5 customer visits we had at work they all had IOS devices.
As you say a lot of it is integrating what others have done into the base OS. Its a sensible way. Try and lead in some ways but others see how the market goes and go with the option thats been the most successful

Really nice icons. Oh no, wait... what the actual fuck have they done to Finder!? Why are some icons circular and flat in design, and others at a jaunty angle?

Strange mix of round, square and random icon shapes.
Don't care much as I only have three original icons in the dock anyway and it's always going to look cluttered once you add third party apps.
Dock background is horrible though and reminds me of the older versions of OSX. Will be removed/changed right away just like the dock indicators on Mountain Lion / Mavericks.
