howdies all,
just brought me a set from halfords...thought they were gonna be the 50.5's, but obviously not...eitherway all of the infinity stuff is at 99 quid. Anyways, just had a look at em and found no speaker cable and the wrong manual. Im getting me mum to take em back tomorrow since im at college (plus she let me the cash for em)...but is speaker cable included in these? or do i need to go and get some?
Also where the best place to put the crossover? Blokey in halfords said wack em in the door pockets? I was thinking of putting some velcro on the back and strapping them in the door pocket and put a hole in it for the cable
cheers all

i went and bought another set of Infinity's from halfords for the rear today, and they were the 5000cs. Indeed they have the incorrect manual and also had no speaker cable, but this wasnt a problem. If its the same there its probably the same everywhere.
The crossover can be mounted where convienient to yourself.
I hope you are amplifying these and not running em off a h/u!

You can put the amp where ever you want as long as its suitable.
Ill be honest ive never run components off a HU, so i dont know what they will be like, but take this into consideration.
The 5000cs need 75RMS each, and your H/U only puts out 22 - 24wRMS per channel
Speaker cable is only cheap for the stuff that comes on the box, can get it from local motor factors for £3 for 8 metres, i wouldnt bother arguing with them.
And who needs instructions when u got us lot

lol mate....yea fair point about the amp...hopefully getting a job in halfords, get me some 15% off stuff
as for the amp....im might get some poor git to wack that in, i nearly cried when my phoenix's wouldnt fit and it took me 4 hours to put a HU in...so imagine me trying to install a amp
well ill see what happens....hey if i can get something for nothing i aint bothered maybe i can get free fitting or sumthing? save me the hassle
although have you got an amp in mind for these things? was looking at the Pioneer GM-X572 pefect match and will go nicely with my pioneer HU
