Will the F20 gearbox fit the C14SE Engine, and if so, is £90 a good price 2nd hand from an astra? cheers, matt

no it wont, big block gearbox, small block engine

They regulary go for about £50, but it would depend whats close to you.
As it wont fit it doesn't matter

cheers for that. Just my mate is building a kit car with the C20XE block from an astra, so is breaking the rest, and my gearbox has seen better days. Looks like im gonna have a like for like replacement till i can afford the conversion. What sort of price is the box for the C14SE engine? (F14CR?)

my mate has 2 spare gearboxes that will fit your C14SE.
f10-5 = £40
f15 = £60
