me an my mate keep having this discussion so could you help solve the 'argument'
My mates got a Saxo VTR 8v, exhaust, ind Kit, superchip, would this be able to beat/keep up with my 1.4 16V , ind kit, exhaust system, chip??
he keeps goin on bout how quick his shitroen is

even tho mines 16V his is 8 and he only has a few bhp over me + full boot install so hes lost some lightness? i know on paper he could win but i think i could out drive him, i dont think his small power increase over mine could beat me?? but maybe im wrong

dave, iv managed to beet a few vtr's in mine, when mine was standard and iv come accross a standard vtr it was very close, level up to about 50-60 ish, then i stopped. now with my engine mods i can beet them! end of the day his car will have more power than urs now so he will beet you id imagine as his car is lighter than urs standard aswell.

Ive raced a few vtrs in my 1.4 16v sport, but ive never been badly beaten, most of the time its dead even. although i know the biscuit tin has more top end grunt whereas i believe the ecotecs have lower down grunt.
its good crack when its so close!
