When I graduate i'm moving back home, our extension will be finished so I get a bigger bedroom
It's decorated hideously and I am going to completely redecorate. It has fitted wardrobes which are staying, but i'm chaging the doors for some like this http://www.wickes.co.uk/icat/bedshowluga (It has to be from Wickes so that the doors fit )
Going to be getting a chocolate brown or black leather bed, similar to this http://www.bensonsforbeds.co.uk/images/beds/maldives_RS.jpg
Going to paint all the walls white or a slightly off white colour. I can't decide between laminate flooring or carpet. Also going to accessorize with mainly chocolate brown stuff and a nice big canvas print. What do you guys think to the plans so far, and should I go for laminate or carpet?
I'm a fan of this design, particularly the rug/laminate combo http://www.boconcept.co.uk/Files/Billeder/BC/Inspiration1/BEDS/MILJEU/BED-M-WE-AE00-GL11-T28-2005.JPG
Does anyone know anywhere else I can find inspiration?
Cheers, James

Have you got any pets? Laminate easier to keep clean if you have. Carpet is nice to walk about barefoot though
Accessorise with chocolate brown stuff and print sounds good as it would go with the bed and work with the pale walls, i would have a cream carpet if you were doing that

No pets.
I thought about the barefoot thing. I can't decide, thats why I need to see good examples of each.
I think laminate is more modern.

Carpets are warmer, and give it a warmer feel. much prefer carpets. Laminate may be easier but its not that nice. A nice warm cream carpet would go nicely with brown, and maybe brown leather not black.

I prefer carpets, more comfy if the sex lands outside the bed.

TBH I prefer the practicalities of carpet, but the look of laminate.
