Hi i have a 1.4 sport and have idling problems and the engine managment light comin on.

yhe car was fine then one day on idle it started too raise the revs for a second. and since then it has grown worse and revs higher and the light comes on.

me and the boys at work had a look under the bonnet and it seems to have an air leak from the combustion chamber on cylinder 4.

i plugged the car into a scanner and it said idle fault.

could these 2 faults be connected???
has anyone had this before hand??

any ideas people???

all help apprieciated as i am pis**n in the wind at the moment..
