Hi.
I have recently added 4gb of ram to my pc and it was switched on for 5mins and it blue screened.
I ran the vista 64bit memory checker and it said I had hardware problems.
I removed all my memory and tried the memory checker with only the new ram and it was fine, tried it with the old and it was fine so its only when its added together?
I am running vista 64bit and it did show 8gb ram.
My spec is :
Point of View GeForce GTX 260
Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 standard not oc
Asus P5Q-E Intel P45
OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C5 Dual Channel Vista Gold Series DDR2 not oc
Western Digital Caviar Blue 640GB
Please help..
p.s. all the ram is identical
Thanks
