hi bought an x16xe with key chip and transponder but how do i wire it into my nova ? also looks like i should have a plug for the transponder.

should i go to the breakers and get the plug and hard wire the plug into the car/loom?

please help.

You cant just ADD the chip and transponder to a random car.. The transponder is coded to the ECU in the car it came from lol..

And you've got an X16XE in your nova yeah? You need the piece of loom that goes to the transponder, one wire goes to earth (brown), one goes to 12v+ and one goes to 12v ignition.. Then there are two wires (brown/blue + brown/white) that go to the ECU, the remaining brown/yellow one goes to the diagnostics plug but I'm guessing you done have that.

looking at the plug that i hard wire into the car i was goin to use the red(12v) black (ignition) green (rev counter) thick red/blue (fuel pump) the rest im not sure on.

please help
