as above.. iv checked if the right plug is on the idle controle valve (the black one?) im goin to try changing and cleaning idle controle valve tmoz and see what happans... is there anything else i could check or it could be? air leak maybe?
any help/advice welcome and cheers in advance

I would have said air leak. check all the induction system for leaks as mine did this, but mine is a x14xe. was coming from some rubber on the throttle body.

Its alright least you dont have much to check, the x14xe has the induction system running behind the engine!

today i have had the inlet off seald it, put it back on, checked for air leaks changed and cleaned icv.. started it back up was much better say 2000rpm then i rev it, and started idleing at 3000ish rpm again, i tryed messing with the tps (throttle posision sensor) didnt really change anything....
any other ideas?

I was going to suggest the TPS but you've already guessed that, I haven't got a clue what it is then, is the EML on?

trying throttle cable because its abit shabby n got a bend in so mite be sticking goin to try that

if your looking for a air leak get some brake cleaner and spray near the induction pipes and if the engine revs uve got a air leak
