Anybody here use it? I've ordered an OEM copy from one of my IT distributors which I'm going to set up here, apparently you can set up recovery partitions on your hard drive with it and even have a 'press F11 to start recovery' type thing before booting into Windows or whatever - just what I need for these new PCs which I'm going to start selling at some point before I die
Going to use my copy tomorrow to sort out backups for the various NAS/server type boxes I've got running here!

Used to use it, all the laptops in the house come with the recovery partition now though so no use

Used to use it also, for imaging terminals off a USB stick. Far easier than installing a load of crap over and over, saves hours.

Yeah, spot on. From either CD or USB.
It saved me about 6 hours of installing stuff once so I love it.
6 epos terminals that all need formating + acronis = win especially as I had to do it at night

It's superb we use it all the time, never had a problem.
If you're feeling adventurous though you could use Clonezilla, which is essentially the same thing but OpenSource and free.

Does CloneZilla offer the F11 restore option?

You mean from a recovery partition? I've no idea, it's not something I would use (a recovery partition that is).

That's the main selling point for me TBH, I want to make my machines the same as when you buy a branded one - so no backup media is required (although I'll probably do this also TBH as it annoys me if the drive fails and there's no backup to work with )
