Ok, just got myself a Sony Bravia android TV and have installed this Kodi to playback movies i download on pc and copy to a HDD. Not done much reading into this software and what it can do but am i getting the impression from skim reading this that you can play movies and sports straight through the app to the TV rather than the copying process?

Yeh you need to have a look at installing some repos that have links to films etc. Have a google of

Exodus seems to have disappeared.off my menu for some odd reason and phoenix doesn't appear to work.

They both changed repos so won't update with the addon you have. Search them on google for the updated info.

Haven't got a clue what you mean by that tbh  I'll ask my mate to update it as he said he was trialing a new version of kodi before telling everyone to update. I'm guessing that's what this is?
