there is no point doing any more to that engine = there is still loads to do to my engine,
hey sand eel you tune the easy way get some one else to tune it for you
because you are only 20 you only know the new way to tune,
ie put car on dyno and let them tune for your you, what would you have done in 1987
first of all i said there is no point in doing anything else to your engine not that there is other possibilities.
yes these days it is all computer controlled ignition and fuelling i agree but i said get a graph eg a power graph to see if your car makes 150bhp like you say.
Still with older carb engines people still did use rolling roads to set the jets accurately, but i havent seen any evidence of your old skool tuning techniques yet.......

Mr 20valver I am 48 this Dec that is old school, times and engines have changed and the way they are tuned and modded and measured, I could post lots of crap about the old days and ways of tuning bikes and cars but no one would be interested so just keep your old out dated stuff to yourself and move along ,put up or shut up, you should be ashamed playing these silly mind games at your age , I respect a lot of these guys and what they know so should you you are never to old to learn but in your case I am not so sure.

20 valver, this is a genuine offer here. Bring your car to my local rolling road and show this 150BHP figure from a N/A 1.4 SPI.
The only thing it will cost you is your petrol.
If you can achieve it I will give you both of my cars; a highly specced GT Turbo (which will piss 150 BHP off a 1.4 A LOT more than that.) and a 2.0 Turbo Corsa, 4 pots on every corner, 17" compomotives, coilovers, GSI, heated leather, full cage, chromed bay, nitrous, basically everything.
You could easily break both cars for £10k.
No doubt you are just a crap troll now TBH. Only a troll or a wanker would think a 1.4 SPI would get 150 BHP, especially as I think the M3 was the first car manufactured with 100BHP+ per litre from an N/A engine. A performance orientated car at a premium price, a modern engine with good VE; not an old wank 2 valve per cylinder shit box where some fair-ground pikey has reduced power by fucking about with sand paper.

reckon we should lay off him a bit tbh, been doing some research and came up with his definition.

Yeah, thats why I said that ages ago and asked if he is autistic.
Personally I don't think being a thick wanker is medically recognised but who knows?

I realise it would never happen but omg it would be so funny if he actually turned up and it somehow showed 150bhp
then he would have a 500bhp c20xe corsa with 16 pot brakes

150bhp from a 1.4 8v is perfectly possible, just not from all the silly little things he is doing.

even a ported and polished cylinder head,
bigger throttle body = 9mm bigger
ported and flowed inlet manifold
spi plenum
ported and tuned airbox
pressure fed enclosed induction kit
ported and flowed exhaust manifold
bigger inside diameter exhaust system
skimmed cylinder head =0.5mm = 10 thou
over bore on the block
advanced timing
up rated ht leads
up rated ht coil
up rated spark plugs
up graded cat
adjustable tps sensor
adjustable fpr
k and n panel filter
1 = bigger throttle body and taper ported = bhp
2 = pressure fed enclosed induction kit = bhp
3 = ported inlet manifold = bhp
4 = ported exhaust manifold = bhp
5 = bigger inside diameter exhaust = bhp
6 = adjustable tps sensor = bhp
7 = adjustable fpr = bhp
8 = k and n panel filter = bhp
9 = bigger injector = bhp
10 = back box = bhp
11 = advance timing 1mm = bhp
12 = port match inlet and exhaust manifolds = bhp
13 = 4 to 2 to 1 = bhp
14 = heat shielding = bhp
15 = performance ht leads = bhp
16 = bigger ht coil = bhp
17 = performance spark plugs = bhp
18 = sport or race cat = bhp
19 = last ported and polished cylinder head = bhp
20 = coolant temperature between 74 degrees and 82 degrees = bhp
21 heat wrap the exhaust = bhp
so jamied you think these are silly little things i am doing.

Still, pmsl.
I reckon he is autistic? He said on CS that he basically works on fairgrounds, so his father is also his uncle. If it is a wind up, then it needs dedication to keep it going for 6 months from 1 forum to another and hope people will pick up the usernames?
think what you like letgsi16v = wayne451 off migweb

how are they shite, at least i do not put a 2 litre engine in a 1.2 and insure it as a 1.2 = fraud big time, even better when the new mot rules come out,
who tunes you engine for you is it your self or the easy way = send it to some one else
