The phonecall would last so long that it would end up costing more than the insurance.

If it wasn't already painfully obvious you're full of shite then that's got to be the clincher.

Air box AND induction kit?

Do you honestly think that list of shite will add 90BHP to a wank little engine?

There is no explanation other than the fact that you are a WUM.

If that's not contradicting yourself I don't know what is.

So what you're saying is you can have an airbox, on its own, but have a 'pressure fed' induction kit as well. Where the hell would that go - hanging from the rear view?

Explain how you use an airbox with an induction kit, and get us pictures of the set-up. Still waiting on those engine bay pics as well.

Car modifying, engine swaps are not legal in France unless homologated, so that rules out pretty much anything. Tuning your existing engine is legal but within fairly strict guidelines, so people dont really bother with the engine side of things and concentrate on styling. Usually with disasterous results. The cars underneath are most often low-spec diesel models,.

Legally, you cant. At all.
The corsa/astra isn't homolgated for that engine, so it will never pass a CT (french MOT).
Lots of brits keep their cars uk registered and go back to uk for a MOT each year, and keep it on uk insurance. This isn't legal either as after 6 months residency, you have to re-register your car in France. Also, uk insurance states you must be a uk resident. back to square 1. I see all kinds of mix-n-match cars here, uk plates with french insurance badge, no tax disc, french plates with uk tax disc re-written in biro, its pretty laughable some of the **** people pull. Problem is, they get away with it till they have an accident as the average french copper doesn't know whats what with the uk system, but an insurance claim lands them in the poo

To get 150bhp from a 1.4 8v vauxhall engine the main ingredients are:

Lairy cam (you dont have this)
High compression (you dont have this)
Big port job on the head (you dont have this properly enough IMHO)
Carbs/TB's (you dont have this)
Accurately mapped/jetted fuelling and timing (you dont have this)

On the standard cam you are on you have no chance at all, and your inlet tract is far to restrictive as well, you are dreaming with half the things you think will improve the power, and in fact your bigger injector in particular will make the car run richer which will LOSE you power.
