I've let my fellow Apple fanboys down. I've neither queued up outside a shop nor taken the day off. I'll pick it up tonight when I get in after the gym or tomorrow if its too late. I think I'll just about manage.

whats wrong with taking the day off work to wait for it? No one else lives here and so If I don't i'll never bloody get the thing seeing as I work 8-4 monday to friday

Gone are the days of limited supply. Plus the days when it was quite rare to have an iPhone, my FB wall is full of pictures of iPhone 5 boxes all by the last people that you'd expect to care less about what phone they have.
