exactly. Its like the Sun reporting "Apple factory riots"....er no it was Foxconn factories and I don't think they have released what products were made in that specific factory. The story sounds much better if you mention Apple.

the USSD code to factory data reset a Galaxy S3 is *2767*3855# can be triggered from browser like this: <frame src="tel:*2767*3855%23" />
Lucky Samsung are so efficient with deploying software updates, and Android users are so quick to download them. Oh, wait.
P.s. don't click that link on a SGS3.

that actually happens a lot. yet ive never known anyone to run around going "ive got an iPhone" then explain why they got one. people just have them, and seem far more normal people that just get on with life.

...agreed, getting on with their lives...rather then queuing outside a shop for 3 weeks to get a phone.

LTE already released blud in america, before apple believe it or not, just a matter of more appropriate timing.
Still too early though, wouldnt be surprised if we see the next version of both makes before it becomes properly accessible over here

Yup I would argue Apple are much better at delivering updates. Specially in iOS6 where its all over the air updates.
Both are as bad as each other in terms of taking time to develop fixes to issues but once the fix is done Apple will get it onto devices much quicker than Google will due to all the manufacturers having to test the fixes on their own versions of the phones, then skinning it for them....etc etc.
IMO its googles major problem. They have not isolated the skin from the OS. They need to be able to push OS updates under the covers of the manufacturer skins.

Certainly not the case for OSX
But i agree, Android is certainly fragmented and network having their fingers in the OS doesn't help but it's getting better.

I would disagree. Although Apple basically only have 1 phone (although that is changing slightly now with the older models just being treated as lower models) android sells considerably more, so more people like the way the android OS, in all it's fragmentation, works.
