Check you haven't pulled out one of those fine wires in the plug, its easy to damage one if you pull it out too hard

do you mean the leds dont light the display or the MFD just isnt working, as LEDS only work 1 way round (right cobra) turn it 180 degs and reinsert!

oh right, i had the same problem when i firstly removed mine, what happened was the long circuit paper bit that attaches to the glass lcd screen came apart (totally apart!) so i took the display indoors and spent hours glueing it back to its original position, buts its hard work, so your best bet is to go to scrapyard. :@}

Yer when i was trying to remove the centre section i gave up n put everything back and then mfd didnt work, sometimes came on if i tapped it a bit. But dont work at all now, cant get enough slack on the wire to get a good enough look. And cant get the wires off the mfd where it connects.

Those wires plug in the back. Theres probably a plastic strap holding it in place, cut that off with a stanley blade and you should be able to unplug it completely.

sounds lile the same prob i had mate. it was the socket that the plug cobra is talking about plugs into. some of the pins had come free the board i just resoldered the pins and it all worked fine again but beware they are close 2gether so unless u r good with a soldering iron get someone else to do it for ya!
